(2006-2018)

International Chess Tournament organized by the Trieste Chess Society in September in Trieste in the years 2006 to 2013. Many promising young people from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Hungary, Georgia, Russia, Uzbekistan, India, the Czech Republic, etc. participate in Tournament B, entitled the Libero and Zora Polojaz Trophy.

Libero Polojaz was a passionate chess player; he believed in its pedagogical value, its positive effects on a person’s development and growth. Playing chess exercises attentional, concentration, planning and other areas of the intellectual sphere, using healthy aggression.
